twistedfantassy asked: how do you make your remixes? like do you just randomly play with the sounds and make your way through the song or do you come up with it when you first listen to the song and make the remix after? sorry for my bad English I'm just curious

Hi there!  You know, it’s different with each song.  If I’m doing a remix, sometimes I’ll have an idea first.  Like for the “Telephone” remix I knew that I wanted to incorporate old telephone sounds, but then as I started digging for samples, the idea evolved to include some instructional phone videos.  But most of the time I’ll just import the acapella into my program, and start playing around with it, like a painter would just start throwing colors on a canvas and see what inspires him.  I’ll glitch up part of the vocals in a cool way and then assemble the beats and music from there.  Most of what I do is refining.  I’ll listen to it over and over again.  And then one little part won’t sound right, or I’ll know it can sound better and I’ll rework that tiny tiny part until it’s perfect.  So I guess the answer to your question is BOTH.  Art is always inspired…but sometimes you have to START creating it to start getting inspired. <3
